Modern Slavery Fund (International)

The Home Office is providing early notification of its intention to explore the continuation of the Modern Slavery Fund, focused on reducing the impact of modern slavery on the UK.

The department is currently engaging with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and other government departments to define specific priorities for the Fund.

At present, the expected focus is on programmes addressing modern slavery and human trafficking affecting Vietnamese, Albanian, and Romanian nationals, both within the UK and in their countries of origin.

We are also exploring a continuation of the Modern Slavery Innovation Fund, with projects that promote innovation and advocacy to strengthen due diligence on forced labour in supply chains and tackle trafficking and forced criminality in cyber-scam centres.
