  • Youth Investment Fund (Phase 2)

    The Youth Investment Fund will level up areas where youth need is high and provision is low, creating a level playing field for young people to have equal access to youth services, trusted youth workers, and dedicated youth facilities that deliver positive outcomes. Investment is targeted in areas of greatest need and enables local youth organisations in 45 local authorities and over 600 district wards in England to apply. Approximately one-third of all young people in England aged 11 to 18 live in these eligible areas.

  • Tree Health Pilot

    The tree health pilot scheme will test different ways of slowing the spread of pests and diseases affecting trees in England. It expands on support already available through the Countryside Stewardship woodland tree health grant. The results of the pilot, which runs from August 2021 to 2024, will help develop the future funding policy for tree health schemes. Around 100 grant agreements will be allocated through a competitive application process.

  • Media Literacy Programme Fund

    DCMS is inviting UK organisations to bid into the newly established, multi-year Media Literacy Programme Fund. The grant scheme will provide funding to organisations undertaking media literacy activity that tackles the challenges set out in the Online Media Literacy Strategy. The three strategic priorities for year 1 of the fund are: supporting vulnerable users; improving evaluation practices; and building resilience to misinformation and disinformation.   • Youth Worker Bursary Fund

    The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) intends to provide a grant to a voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) or youth sector organisation, or a joint delivery body led by such an organisation, to deliver a £500,000 Youth Worker Bursary Fund. The purpose of the Youth Worker Bursary Fund is to support a sufficiently qualified youth sector workforce, which will support young people to develop skills for life and work, and improve their mental and physical wellbeing.

  • Know Your Neighbourhood (KYN) Fund: Invitation for Intermediary Grant Makers

    Up to £14 million will be made available through the Know Your Neighbourhood (KYN) Fund for activities enabling volunteering and tackling loneliness in targeted high deprivation local authority areas in England. Government is running this competition for an Intermediary Grant Maker (IGM) to lead the delivery of funding to Onward Grant Recipients (OGRs). Our ambition is to develop our understanding of what works to improve wellbeing and pride in place in these communities through volunteering and community initiatives tackling loneliness. Citizens will be able to participate in local projects which build their skills, wellbeing and social networks.

  • Hackney Marshes: Partnerships for People & Place Grant

    We are co-producing and implementing a flexible grants programme to engage older people not already involved in local activities, fund gaps in local activities, and add value to existing activities. Some £85,000 will be allocated this financial year. Applicants can apply for grants of up to £10,000. If you are applying as the lead organisation along with other organisations you may apply for up to £15,000 to allow you to cover any necessary administration or management costs. Groups who are unconstituted, such as structured groups of residents can apply for grants of up to £3,000.
